Not all rear cameras are waterproof. Waterproof rear cameras can also be mounted outside, while non-waterproof rear cameras must be mounted inside on the rear window. If the rear camera is waterproof, this is usually specifically mentioned in the description and often (but not always) water droplets are shown in the photo to indicate that the camera is waterproof.
The small cylindrical rear cameras, such as those shown with the Botslab G980H, are usually not waterproof, while the square or symmetrical rear cameras, such as those with the Nanocam T55 or AZDome M770 Pro, are waterproof. To be sure, you can always contact our customer service.
