Summary: What’s included in professional installation (front camera), what you need to prepare, and how scheduling works.
What the service usually includes
- Mounting the front dashcam in an appropriate location
- Routing the cable neatly (as much as the vehicle allows)
- Connecting power (often via hardwire kit, depending on the service package)
- Basic functional test (power on, recording starts)
- Short explanation of basic use
Availability
Professional installation is not available in every country. If you don’t see an installation product/service on your local Allcam store, it is likely not offered in your region.
What you should prepare
- Make sure the vehicle is accessible and clean around the windscreen/dash area.
- Bring your dashcam package (including mounts, cables, and hardwire kit if applicable).
- Know whether you want parking mode (requires hardwiring on most models).
Important limitations
- Some vehicles require special procedures for trim removal and cable routing.
- We may advise an alternative setup if airbags or sensors are in the planned cable route.
